Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County Marks its 50-year anniversary in 2019
Founded in 1969, the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County has been a beacon of hope for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in the community. Over the past five decades, the League has rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed countless cats, dogs, and other animals, providing them with a second chance at life.
From a humble shelter in a converted barn to a state-of-the-art adoption center, the League has grown and evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of the animals in its care. The League now offers a full range of services, including adoption, animal control, humane education, and veterinary care.
Over the years, the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County has touched the lives of countless animals and people. The League’s dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to providing animals with a safe and loving environment, and to helping people understand the importance of responsible pet ownership.
As the League celebrates its 50th year, it looks forward to continuing its mission of making a difference in the lives of animals in the community. The League is grateful for the support of its donors, volunteers, and the community, and looks forward to many more years of providing compassionate care to animals in need.
