When you're trying to complete your museum in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you'll need to buy paintings and works of art from Crazy Redd. But be careful! Not all of Redd's art is real. Some of it is fake. If you buy a fake, it will take up space in your museum and you won't be able to get your hands on the real thing.
There are a few ways to tell if a work of art is fake. One way is to look at the description. If the description is vague or doesn't match the work of art, it's probably fake. For example, one of Redd's forgeries is a painting of Mona Lisa. However, the description of the painting says that it is a portrait of a woman with a mysterious smile. This is not an accurate description of the Mona Lisa, so it's likely that the painting is a fake.
Another way to tell if a work of art is fake is to look at the price. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. For example, one of Redd's forgeries is a statue of David. However, the price of the statue is only 1,000 bells. The real statue of David is worth millions of dollars, so it's likely that the statue that Redd is selling is a fake.
