'Claim to Fame's Shane Claims Marlon Brando's Weekly TV Habit — Watch the Odd Moment
'Is He Messing With the Family?'
"Claim to Fame" star Shane Farley is sharing a few family secrets — straight from his legendary grandfather, Marlon Brando.
Shane, who is the grandson of Marlon Brando, is currently a contestant on the new ABC reality show where contestants live together and try to guess the famous relative of their fellow houseguests.
In a recent episode, Shane revealed that his grandfather had a rather unusual television habit that left his grandson scratching his head.
Marlon Brando's TV Habit: What Did He Do?
- Watched TV shows at night in the dark
- Would often watch the same shows repeatedly
- Sometimes turned the volume off during shows
Shane told his fellow contestants, "He would watch TV in the dark all the time. It was so weird."
"He watched the same shows over and over again," Shane added. "I remember watching 'The Godfather' with him like five times."
Perhaps the strangest part of Brando's TV habit was that he sometimes turned the volume off.
"He would watch TV with the volume off," Shane said. "It was so strange."
Is He Messing With the Family?
Shane's fellow contestants were understandably confused by his grandfather's behavior.
"Is he messing with the family?" one contestant asked.
Shane admitted that he wasn't sure what to make of his grandfather's TV habit.
"I don't know," Shane said. "He was a very private person. I think he just liked to relax and watch TV in his own way."
Shane's grandfather, Marlon Brando, passed away in 2004. He is considered one of the greatest actors of all time.
